  Alki is a unique company specializing in furniture manufacturing since 1982. Alki is a cooperative and is therefore strongly committed to both its environment and to its own people. Clients, of course, have their very special place in this modern endeavour.

  Thanks to its local production, Alki makes high quality and meticulously finished furniture. The company's unique style reveals an inherited traditional expertise in creating collections that have a strong and robust character, and that can adapt to any project.

  Because Alki is very concerned about the environment, it makes it a point of regularly modernizing its installations and equipment, and prefers using natural and ecological products.

• History

  

  In 1982, a group of people sharing a strong will to work and live in the Basque Country, created Alki in Itsasu (Itxassou), a small town close to Biarritz in the Basque Country.

  Years of hard work have allowed Alki to acquire marked experience borrowed from the ancestral craftsmanship, know-how, tradition and culture. Loyal to its values, Alki is always evolving and creating new lines that answer to clients immediate and ever-changing needs. Among some of Alki's creations, we find authentic and traditional wooden furniture, as well as lighter and original pieces characteristic of the Biarritz collection. What is more, modern lines of new chairs complete a large range of products that allow for the creation of the perfect atmosphere.

  Alki is always ready and available to adapt its style of any piece of furniture to match your personal and private tastes.

  Thanks to Alki's commitment to on-site production, we can guarantee the high quality in each and every collection. Each rod iron piece is carefully melted and moulded. All wooden pieces and assemblies are made using mortice and tenon joints and the drawers are made using dovetail joints as was customary in the old days. Each piece of wood is hand sanded which means that each has a personal touch. This makes every piece of furniture truly unique. Wood varieties of oak, cherry and walnut , along with the many combinations of sizes, shapes and finishes, allow you to customize your furniture according to your specific needs. The possibilities are endless.
